American Rights

My friend had this and I thought it was pretty amazing and sadly true...thought I would share:


I have the right to remain ignorant to events in my own Nation.

I have the right to ignore the existance of every other Nation on this planet.

I have the right to buy large SUV's and trucks that I have no real use for just so I can use up MORE oil, cause MORE pollution, and ultimently lead to MORE wars in the Middle East.

I have the right to tie up our courts with useless lawsuits about how our neighbor cut a branch off of our tree, making murder and rape trials last months if not years.

I have the right to NOT vote for any political office, cause it really doesn't affect me anyway.

I have the right to know that my country is the best, because God said so.

I have the right to not give blood, money, food, time, or sympathy to my fellow Americans in need.

I have the right to say that AIDS is a "fag issue" and ignore the AIDS epidemic that is taking over Africa.

I have the right to believe, because my parents told me so, that all commies are evil and should die.

I have the right to assume all Muslims want to kill me for no good reason except I like Baseball and Hot Dogs.

I have the rght to know every single American Idol top ten from every season, but not know who Margaret Sanger or Harvey Milk was.

I have the right to waste countless amounts of food and water, because it takes too much effort to give it to those who need it.

I have the right to be a complete moron at any given moment, make all other countries hate us, and then wonder why other countries are happy that we are dropping bombs on their innocents.
